Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Arc Anime Movie Trilogy Officially Announced!

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will handle the distribution of the three-part film series.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba hype train continues to chug along, as the hit anime series still has a long way to go and is about to take things to the next level! Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Arc will be adapting into anime film Trilogy!

The announcement was made after the Hashira Training arc finished airing in Japan, with the reveal of a short teaser video and teaser visual.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced their acquisition of the trilogy of movies for a global theatrical release, excluding certain Asian territories and Japan. Additional details such as release date, are yet to be revealed.

Crunchyroll currently streams the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime, with the final episode of the Hashira Training arc airing today on the platform. Crunchyroll describes the series:

It is the Taisho Period in Japan.

Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.

Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.
