CTW Launches “Hyakka Ryoran Master Samurai Chronicles” on G123

Based on the popular Hyakka Ryoran Samurai Girls series.

CTW has officially launched its newest game on the G123 platform: Hyakka Ryoran Master Samurai Chronicles, an enhanced return of the Hyakka Ryoran Samurai Girls series.

The game is a turn-based idle RPG featuring stylized SD versions of the Master Samurai characters. Battles are mostly automated, with a party of five characters fighting enemies in auto-battle. Players can also actively intervene by tapping the screen, allowing the protagonist Muneakira Yagyu to unleash a special “Spirit” attack that damages enemies directly.

As players progress through stages, they can level up Muneakira to strengthen the entire team and unlock higher level caps for the Master Samurai characters. Combat power can also be improved by equipping and forging swords, as well as customizing characters with skins that boost stats.

The game includes a long progression system with thousands of floors filled with increasingly difficult enemies. Players are encouraged to build a strong team by choosing their favorite Master Samurai and enhancing their abilities.

In addition to battles, players can build bonds with characters, unlocking special scenes that will appeal to fans of the original series.

The game is set in the Buou Gakuen Juku world, where players and the Master Samurai fight together in a new adventure.

About Hyakka Ryoran:
The time: the 20th-something year of the Heisei era. The place: Buou Gakuen Juku located at the base of Mt. Fuji, where purges rage against the anti-student council faction known as the Toyotomi Faction. Muneakira Yagyu is a high schooler at Buou and assistant instructor at the Yagyu Dojo, bound to serve the Tokugawa family as his ancestors have for generations. Yet he openly opposes the Tokugawa Student Council’s excessive crackdown known as the “Toyotomi Hunt”—until girls bearing the names of legendary swordsmen and warlords of old begin appearing before him, one after another. Is this the dawn of a great upheaval that will shake history—or something else entirely?
