Netflix has released a new English-dubbed trailer for the second season of “Blue Box,” offering another look at the sports romance anime before its return this fall.
Netflix confirmed that Season 2 will premiere Oct. 4 exclusively on the streaming service. Viewers will be able to watch the new episodes with subtitles or an English dub.
Based on Kouji Miura’s manga, “Blue Box” follows Taiki Inomata, a member of his school’s boys’ badminton team who trains alongside his longtime crush, basketball player Chinatsu Kano. After Chinatsu moves in with Taiki’s family, the two balance their growing feelings with their athletic ambitions.
The upcoming season will continue following Taiki and Chinatsu as they gradually grow closer. The new trailer previews the pair’s changing relationship while teasing the emotional complications awaiting them in the next chapter.
Daisuke Sako is directing Season 2. The first season of “Blue Box” is currently available to stream on Netflix. Netflix’s 2026 anime lineup provides additional information about the returning series.
