The teaser promotional video and main staff for the upcoming anime adaptation of BLADE & BASTARD, scheduled for release in 2027, have been officially revealed. The series has also been confirmed to stream on HIDIVE as part of its 2027 lineup.

Drecom Media launched its DRE Novels imprint on October 7, 2022, and Blade & Bastard: Warm ash, Dusky dungeon was among the first titles published under the label. The series is released in English by J-Novel Club, which provides the following description of the story:
Deep in the unexplored reaches of the dungeon, a corpse is discovered—one that shouldn’t exist. After Iarumas is resurrected, his memories of life before death are gone, and he spends his days delving into the dungeon to retrieve the bodies of dead adventurers. Can they be revived as well?
