Black Channel Manga Gets TV Anime Adaptation

Demon youtuber!

Satoshi Kisaichi‘s Black Channel is getting a TV anime adaptation. The news was shared on the official Coro Coro Comics X (formerly Twitter) account, along with a special illustration to celebrate the announcement.

The Black Channel manga first started in 2020 and currently has 13 volumes published. A new volume is expected to be released later this month in Japan.

A short spin-off manga titled Black Channel: Breaking the Wall was also released between July and August 2022. This story inspired a web anime that premiered on YouTube the same year.

The story follows Black, a demon YouTuber who enjoys recording people’s misfortune to create content. He travels through the human world with his assistant, Camera-chan, always looking for new videos to film.
