Netflix has announced that BANANA FISH will begin streaming in select regions on August 12, giving fans another chance to experience the story of Ash Lynx and Eiji Okumura. The anime will be available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and France, featuring exclusive new English and French dubs.
The English dub stars Brandon McInnis as Ash Lynx and Jonathan Tanigaki as Eiji Okumura. For the French dub, Sébastien Baulain voices Ash, while Grégory Laisné takes on the role of Eiji.

Based on Akimi Yoshida’s acclaimed manga, BANANA FISH was animated by MAPPA and first aired in 2018. The 24-episode series follows gang leader Ash Lynx and Japanese photographer’s assistant Eiji Okumura as they uncover the mystery behind the words “Banana Fish,” leading them into a dangerous world of crime, corruption, and hidden secrets.
