Akio Otsuka joins the original animated film ÆLIENS as the Director of the Space Bureau. The film is directed by Atsushi Nishikori and produced by CloverWorks.
‘GROTESQQQUE’ is a three-part “full-throttle entertainment” project featuring ÆLIENS, 4649GIRL, and NOCTURN: EN CETTE NUIT GROTESQUE. It will be released on November 6 in Japan.

The film is structured as an anthology composed of three distinct stories: ÆLIENS, in which an alien girl teams up with a public servant at the Space Bureau in search of “friends”. 4649GIRL, a frenetic battle royale where girls compete to become the winner of a game called “4649GIRL”; and NOCTURN: EN CETTE NUIT GROTESQUE, which follows three girls surviving in a devastated world after being infected through a vampire bite.
