Thirty-five artists have been announced as contributors to the music of GROTESQQQUE, an original animated feature film directed by Atsushi Nishikori and produced by CloverWorks.
Set for a theatrical release in 2026, GROTESQQQUE is an ambitious anthology project composed of three interconnected works, each featuring its own distinct setting and worldview:

The film is structured as an anthology composed of three distinct stories: ÆLIENS, in which an alien girl teams up with a public servant at the Space Bureau in search of “friends”; 4649GIRL, a frenetic battle royale where girls compete to become the winner of a game called “4649GIRL”; and NOCTURN: EN CETTE NUIT GROTESQUE, which follows three girls surviving in a devastated world after being infected through a vampire bite.
