ARMORED TROOPER VOTOMS Die Graue Hexe Anime Part 1 Set for November Release in Japan

Mamoru Oshii is directing a brand-new entry in the ARMORED TROOPER VOTOMS franchise titled “ARMORED TROOPER VOTOMS Die Graue Hexe”, which will be released as a two-part theatrical project. The first film is scheduled to premiere in cinemas on November 20 in Japan, and a special report along with a teaser visual has been revealed.

This new production serves as a commemorative work marking the 50th anniversary of SUNRISE.

On May 16, a limited-edition movie ticket card covering both parts will go on sale. The front of the ticket features the teaser visual. It will be available through online ordering, as well as for a limited time at the venue of the 64th Shizuoka Hobby Show, held on May 16–17.

More details regarding the release date of the second part are expected later.

In related product news, BANDAI SPIRITS will release the model kit “HG Scope Dog Gray Witch [Dessert Color] (tentative)” this fall. It has also been announced that a new collectible model kit series will be developed by TAMASHII NATIONS.

Armored Trooper VOTOMS is a real robot anime directed by Ryosuke Takahashi and produced by Sunrise. First broadcast in 1983, the series has since expanded into a long-running franchise, with numerous OVAs, side stories, theatrical releases, special event screenings, and book adaptations.
