To celebrate the 30th anniversary of After War Gundam X, a special “30th Anniversary Start Visual” has been unveiled. The anime series originally premiered on April 5, 1996.

As part of the celebrations, voice actors Wataru Takagi and Mika Kanai will host a special program titled “What Happens After After War?”. The show will be streamed regularly on the official Gundam Channel, featuring discussions about the series, behind-the-scenes memories, and updates on upcoming anniversary projects. Fans are also invited to submit their favorite quotes and memories from the series.
In addition, Bandai Channel will offer an extended version of the program, including exclusive unreleased footage. The first episode is scheduled to premiere in late April.
A dedicated 30th anniversary website and a special page on Bandai Channel will continue to share updates and new projects throughout the year.
To mark the occasion, special anniversary CDs for Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, and After War Gundam X will be released in limited-edition LP-style packaging. Each release includes instrumental tracks and theme songs. The cover illustrations are newly drawn by Hidetaka Tenjin, known for his detailed mechanical artwork. Fans who purchase all three CDs as a set will receive a bonus: a collection of acrylic blocks featuring the exclusive cover art.
Mobile Fighter G Gundam first aired from April 1994 to March 1995. It was directed by Yasuhiro Imagawa and written by Fuyunori Gobu at Sunrise. After War Gundam X, directed by Shinji Takamatsu and written by Hiroyuki Kawasaki, aired from April to December 1996.
