A fourth season of the A Certain Scientific Railgun TV anime has been announced, with Tatsuyuki Nagai returning as the director for J.C.STAFF‘s production.

Based on the spin-off light novels by Kazuma Kamachi, A Certain Scientific Railgun premiered in October 2009, followed by sequel seasons in 2013 and 2020. Crunchyroll streams the series and provides a synopsis of the story:
