Terror in Resonance Celebrates its 10th Anniversary with New Visual!

Shinichiro Watanabe’s original psychological thriller anime.

The 10th-anniversary project for the TV anime “Terror in Resonance” has started, commemorating its milestone in July. The visual draws inspiration from summer, which is the season that symbolizes the work. In the visual, Arata Kokonoe, also known as Nine, and Toji Hisami, known as Twelve, stand together.

A new website was launched featuring the updated visuals, along with comments from voice actors Kaito Ishikawa and Soma Saito, as well as insights from the series’ director, Watanabe.

Additionally, a special promotional campaign will take place at the Noitamina Shop and Cafe Theater from July 6, 2024, to July 28, 2024. The campaign will feature merchandise with newly-drawn illustrations, a collaboration menu, and limited edition novelty gifts. On Saturdays and Sundays, select episodes from the series, chosen through fan surveys, will be screened at the store’s theater.

The anime “Terror in Resonance,” produced by MAPPA (known for JUJUTSU KAISEN), aired in July 2014. Directed by Shinichiro Watanabe (famous for Cowboy Bebop), it featured character design by Kazuto Nakazawa and music composed by Yoko Kanno.

In an alternate version of the present, Tokyo has been decimated by a shocking terrorist attack, and the only hint to the identity of the culprit is a bizarre video uploaded to the internet. The police, baffled by this cryptic clue, are powerless to stop the paranoia spreading across the population.
