The Guinness World Records has officially certified JUJUTSU KAISEN TV anime series as “the world’s most in-demand animated TV show”. This title was previously held by Attack on Titan since 2020.
Official announcement:
According to data-science firm Parrot Analytics, the global demand rating for JUJUTSU KAISEN is 71.2 times higher than the average TV show. Parrot Analytics measures ‘demand’ by analyzing the level of attention, engagement, desire, and viewership expressed by consumers for content.
Their system collects billions of new data points daily, including video consumption (streaming and downloads), social media engagement metrics (such as hashtags, likes, and shares), and research activities (like reading about a show on IMDb).
Towards the end of 2023, JUJUTSU KAISEN surged ahead of ONE PIECE anime, likely due to the airing of the “Shibuya Incident Arc”. In December, the show peaked at “128 times the demand of the average show,” with 71.3% of viewers belonging to Gen Z (ages 13-22).
Key Visual:
JUJUTSU KAISEN anime series quickly won the hearts of audiences with its blend of the supernatural and intense action. The production team at MAPPA studio, who worked on the series, have already shown their commitment to quality, and the new visual only adds to the excitement around this series.
