The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of JELEE’s manga Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night has posted a “Colorful Moonlight” video clip from Sunflower Dolls! The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 6 and will stream on HIDIVE!

Produced by Doga Kobo as part of the studio’s 50th anniversary, the anime is directed by Ryohei Takeshita and written by Yūki Yaku along with character design by Junichiro Taniguchi and music by Masaru Yokoyama

The Japanese cast stars Miku Itou as Mahiru Kozuki, Rie Takahashi as Kano Yamanouchi, Miyu Tomita as Kiui Watase, and Miyuri Shimabukuro as Mei Kim Anouk Takanashi.
The manga adaptation of Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night will be serialized by Kodansha in its “Magazine Pocket” manga app concurrently with the anime series.
Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night is set in Central Tokyo’s Shibuya City. Shibuya City is the center of Japanese youth culture and its street are a frenzied mix of fashion, art, entertainment and nightlife — providing the perfect back drop for this unique slice of life, coming-of-age ensemble drama and its cast of characters.
