A new visual of the six Matsuno brothers planting a “commemorative pine tree” has been released as part of the project marking the end of the 10th anniversary year of the TV anime Mr. Osomatsu.
Mr. Osomatsu celebrated its 10th anniversary on October 6, 2025. The new visual was created by Eiji Yasuhiko, who worked as the character designer for the anime’s third and fourth seasons. It expresses his gratitude to the fans who have supported the series over the past 10 years and his hope that Mr. Osomatsu will continue to be loved for many years to come.
In addition, Studio Pierrot, the studio behind Mr. Osomatsu, has started a project to plant a commemorative pine tree in cooperation with Mitaka City, Tokyo, where the studio is based. More details will be announced at a later date.
The four seasons of Mr. Osomatsu, along with the movie, are available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The platform describes the series as follows:
Mr. Osomatsu is based off of the gag manga series Osomatsu-kun by Fujio Akatsuka, and ran from 1962 to 1969. The series features a set of sextuplets, the Matsuno brothers, with Osomatsu being the oldest brother and leader of the group.
