The Japanese dub of the donghua Paw & Palaces will premiere on Crunchyroll on October 10. Ahead of its release, a creditless version of the anime’s opening has been released on YouTube.

The Forbidden City is home to six cats with a secret mission: protect the memories held within China’s cultural relics. When the destructive force known as Black Owl threatens Wuhua, the world within those relics, the six guardians enter its realm to fight back. Armed with courage and teamwork, these feline guardians must defeat Black Owl before he erases the history they swore to protect.
