BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai Anime Reveals New Ukiyo-e Visual for Second Cour

The second “ukiyo-e Visual” for BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai has been revealed, ahead of the anime’s second cour in Japan. The series is based on the original manga by Keisuke Itagaki.

Unlike the first visual, which was inspired by a real ukiyo-e painting depicting the “Battle of Ganryujima”, the second visual takes us to one of the main battlefields of Baki & Miyamoto Musashi in the underground fighting arena.

The visual shows Baki unleashing a powerful kick surrounded by a fiery red fighting spirit, while Musashi faces him with blue fighting energy in both hands and a sharp, focused gaze. Like the first visual, the artwork was created by ukiyo-e artist KOJIMAN.
