A preview screening of the 4K remastered version of COWBOY BEBOP: The Movie will be held on October 23 at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku in Tokyo.
The 4K remastered version will be released in theaters across Japan on October 30. Director Shinichiro Watanabe and music composer Yoko Kanno are scheduled to appear at the preview screening for a special stage greeting.
A special stage greeting to celebrate the theatrical release will also be held twice on October 31. Director Watanabe will appear alongside Koichi Yamadera, the voice of Spike Spiegel.
Advance ticket reservations for the October 31 stage greeting are now open through Ticket Pia, starting today, September 25.

COWBOY BEBOP: The Movie is set between Episodes 22 and 23 of the original series. The story follows a terrorist plot involving a deadly virus that threatens to wipe out the population of Mars.
The original COWBOY BEBOP anime aired in 1998 and was created by the collective name Hajime Yatate, associated with Sunrise. The series is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll.
