The TV anime Horror Collector will premiere on October 10. The anime will air on NHK General every Saturday at 11:45 PM, with a total of 12 episodes. The main cast, a new key visual, and a teaser PV have also been revealed.
The character voices were unveiled as well, including lines showing Fushigi’s strong determination to uncover the secret. A preview of “Kageboushi”, the opening theme song by Shikao Suga, is also featured in the teaser PV.

The original Horror Collector series is written by Midori Sato and Norio Tsuruta, who is known as the “father of J-Horror” for his work on the TV drama Honto ni Atta Kowai Hanashi. The novels feature illustrations by Yon.
The series has been published by Kadokawa under the Kadokawa Tsubasa Bunko label since June 2015 and currently has 27 volumes.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Niko Yuki was serialized in Monthly Comic Gene from September 2021 to February 2022 and later collected into one volume.
