The original anime Mazenchu will premiere as part of Kansai TV’s program Yoidon! starting October 7. The anime will air every Wednesday within the program.

Mazenchu is a coming-of-age story set at a school where unique “foods” such as vinegared rice, avocado, and lean tuna attend classes together. The story follows their friendship, rivalry, and slightly bittersweet romance.
Through the daily lives of these food characters, the anime explores the fun of connecting and blending with others.
