The anime The Quintessential Quintuplets, based on the manga by Negi Haruba, will hold a special event in Tokyo next year.
Titled “The Quintessential Quintuplets SPECIAL EVENT 2027 in Tokyo Garden Theater“, the event will take place at Tokyo Garden Theater on May 8 and 9, 2027. More details about the event will be announced at a later date.
Tickets for the event will be included for a limited time with the Blu-ray release of “The Quintessential Quintuplets SPECIAL EVENT 2026 in TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO“, which will be released on January 27, 2027. The Blu-ray will feature footage from the event held on May 2, 2026.
The release will also include a special booklet. The limited edition will come with five additional bonuses, including a replica of the event’s reading script.

Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine until February 2020, the manga has surpassed 20 million copies in circulation as of May 2026. The anime first aired in 2019, followed by a second season in 2021. Since then, the franchise has continued to grow with a movie released in 2022 and two TV special anime episodes.
The TV special The Quintessential Quintuplets: No Coincidences in This Summer Break is now available on Crunchyroll in select regions. The special originally aired in Japan in September 2023 and was directed by Yukihiro Miyamoto at SHAFT.
The Quintessential Quintuplets: Operation Quintuplets is also now streaming on Crunchyroll in select regions. This special first aired in Japan in December 2024 and was directed by Masato Jinbo at Bibury Animation Studios.
