Additional cast members for the TV anime My Girlfriend’s Friend, based on the original work by Jura, have been announced, along with a new key visual, the main promotional video, and the theme song details. The anime will begin airing on October 4.
The opening theme song will be “Gingira” by Airots, while the ending theme song will be “False Love” by Ceui.
A mini anime will also be released at the same time. It will be available in two versions: a censored version and an uncensored version.
The “fully deregulated version,” which removes all restrictions from the TV broadcast, will be available exclusively for streaming on AnimeFesta.

My Girlfriend’s Friend tells a provocative story centered on Takeru, a high school boy who finally gets his first girlfriend, Kaori. However, his relationship is tested when Kaori’s friend Tomoko begins to seduce him, drawing him into a complicated and morally ambiguous situation. The manga is currently serialized on Yanmaga Web and Comic DAYS.
