MangaPlaza, the global digital manga platform operated by NTT Solmare, has surpassed 1 million members following its fourth anniversary earlier this year.
Launched in North America in March 2022, MangaPlaza offers more than 170,000 officially licensed manga chapters, featuring titles from major Japanese publishers including Kodansha, KADOKAWA, and SHUEISHA. Its catalog covers a wide range of genres, including romance, fantasy, action, Boys’ Love (BL), Girls’ Love (GL), and horror.
The platform has also expanded its lineup with MangaPlaza Originals, as well as exclusive manga from Japanese, Chinese, and Korean creators. Some of its exclusive titles, including The Ramparts of Ice and The Ogre’s Bride, have also received anime or Netflix adaptations.
MangaPlaza has continued to grow its presence in the United States, recently holding a panel at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, where the 300-seat room reached capacity. The platform also participated in Otakon and plans to attend more conventions across the country.

To celebrate reaching 1 million members, MangaPlaza is running a special campaign throughout September.
