The upcoming KAGURABACHI anime has announced two new cast members: Miku Ito as Hinao and Miyari Nemoto as Char Kyonagi. Alongside the announcement, new character visuals, character trailers have also been revealed.
Produced by Cypic, the highly anticipated series is scheduled to premiere in April 2027.
The series will stream worldwide on Crunchyroll, excluding select Asian territories.

Character Introduction – Hinao:
At “Cafe Haru Haru,” she acts as an intermediary, connecting clients seeking the aid of sorcery with sorcerers. She took Char under her protection and introduced her to Chihiro and the others.
Character Introduction – Char Kyonagi:
A cheerful and courageous young girl who was being pursued for certain reasons. When Hinao asked her about her pursuers, she said they had “the most strongest sword,” which led to her meeting Chihiro and the others.
Global Release and World Tour
A global rollout has also been confirmed in partnership with MUSE and SMG Holdings, among others.
Before the full release, a Kagurabachi World Tour will begin in summer 2026, featuring special preview screenings of the first 20 minutes of Episode 1 across multiple international locations. The tour will conclude in Japan in spring 2027 with the first full screening of Episode 1 ahead of the official broadcast.

STORY:

Chihiro Rokuhira is a boy who aspires to become a swordsmith, and took daily training under his father Kunishige, a renowned swordsmith. Their days, once filled with laughter, are brutally torn apart by an attack from the mysterious sorcerer organization, the Hishaku.
