Eiichiro Oda’s new theatrical anime film, ONE PIECE FILM GOD VALLEY, will be released in Japan in summer 2027. A second film, ONE PIECE FILM BAAD, is also planned for release in Japan in 2029. A teaser video has been released.

ONE PIECE FILM GOD VALLEY will be the first new ONE PIECE movie since ONE PIECE FILM RED, which was released in 2022 and earned ¥20.33 billion at the Japanese box office.
The film will celebrate the 30th anniversary of ONE PIECE, which will take place on July 22, 2027. The title refers to God Valley, an important location in the ONE PIECE story.
The logos for both films have also been revealed. The title logo for ONE PIECE FILM BAAD, featuring a large “D,” was handwritten by Eiichiro Oda himself.
Meanwhile, the ONE PIECE anime returned with the Elbaph Arc on April 5. The anime is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.

Now 26 years since the series’ TV premiere, “ONE PIECE” has taken its place as part of mainstream pop culture, attracting fans of all ages. Today, the franchise encompasses 15 feature films, numerous video games, a trading card game and a constantly growing catalog of licensed apparel, footwear, accessories, toys, games, sporting goods, stationary, gifts, novelties, household goods, books, food & beverage, and location-based entertainment.
ONE PIECE manga series has achieved a cumulative worldwide circulation of over 510 million copies, while its TV anime has been on air since 1999. The 2022 theatrical release, ONE PIECE FILM RED, became a cultural phenomenon, grossing over 20.34 billion yen at the Japanese box office.
