The TV anime Even the Student Council Has Its Holes, based on the manga by Muchimaro, has revealed a new character trailer and visual for Tan Otori, voiced by Hiyori Kono. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2026.

The manga began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2022. The 12th volume is scheduled for release in Japan on March 17, 2026. The series is published by Kodansha. The series also won first place in the print manga category at the Next Manga Awards in 2023.
