The upcoming anime feature film To You in the Beyond, based on Akiko Abe’s popular coming-of-age novel, has unveiled its official main trailer and main visual. The film is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on October 9, 2026.
Singer-songwriter Tota provides the film’s insert songs and theme song “Olive”.

STORY:
On the lush, remote Tokishima lies a mysterious place known as the “Spirited Away Cove.”
After leaving the city due to personal circumstances, high school student Kazuki Tsukigase begins a new life on the island. One early
summer day, he discovers an unconscious girl at the cove.
Her name is Nanao Aika.
Claiming to have come from the year 1974, Nanao is taken in by Kazuki and a man named Takatsu, who happens to be at the cove
when they find her. Intrigued by the mysterious girl, Kazuki begins visiting her after school, until one day Nanao reveals a shocking
truth.
When the past and the present converge, the future of two people bound by hidden secrets begins to unfold.
