The first teaser PV for the TV anime I’m Dating a Dark Summoner, based on Shaoh’s manga, has been released. The fantasy romantic comedy will be a short-form anime series.
HIDIVE has announced that the series will stream exclusively on the platform starting in October 2026 as part of its Fall 2026 simulcast lineup.

Based on the popular manga by Shaoh, the series follows a unique fantasy story centered around a demi-human and a priest. The manga launched in 2021 and currently has seven volumes. It is published by KADOKAWA under Dragon Comics Age and serialized digitally through Kadokomi and Niconico‘s Dra Dra Sharp#.
HIDIVE describes the anime as follows:
A romantic comedy about a bickering couple: Amona, a dark summoner and demi-human girl who’s too weak to resist her desires, and Roni, an overly serious priest! Roni welcomes Aruni as a new member to his adventuring party. Everyone expected the two would clash and become sworn enemies. But, to their surprise and on their first day together, they have a one-night stand…!
