The Elusive Samurai Season 2 Reveals Ending Theme Artists Ahead of July 17 Premiere

The ending theme for The Elusive Samurai Season 2, based on Yusei Matsui’s original manga, has been revealed as “If you want ‘Romantic'” by BotchiBoromaru.

BotchiBoromaru, who also performed the ending theme for the anime’s first season, returns for the sequel with a brand-new song featuring three guest vocalists from Hinatazaka46. The identities of the featured members will remain a surprise until the anime’s premiere on July 17.

In the year 1333, the Kamakura shogunate government comes crumbling down. A trusted vassal, Ashikaga Takauji, betrays the shogunate and organizes a rebellion. Hojo Tokiyuki, the rightful heir, escapes the massacre with a Shinto priest named Suwa Yorisige to Kamakura. On the run and fighting to stay alive, Tokiyuki sets in motion his plan to reclaim his birthright.
