A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special Season 2 is set to premiere this October on Crunchyroll. It was also announced during Anime Expo 2026 that krage will perform the ending theme song, titled “Everlasting.”

Based on the web novel by Usonan, which began publication in 2016, A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special was later adapted into a manhwa illustrated by Wookjakga in 2018. The English version of the manhwa is published by Yen Press.
Yen Press describes the series as follows:
