M.A.O has been announced as the voice of Nanami, a beautiful maid character in the TV anime Magical Explorer: Reborn as a Side Character in a Fantasy Dating Sim. Alongside this casting reveal, a new teaser visual titled “Nanami Ver.” has also been released.
The anime is based on the light novel series written by Iris and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki. It is scheduled to air in fall 2026, with animation production handled by WHITE FOX.

The original novel, Magical Explorer: Reborn as a Side Character in a Fantasy Dating Sim, first appeared on Shosetsuka ni Naro in February 2018. A print version is published in Japan by Kadokawa Shoten under the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko label, with 12 volumes available so far.
An English version of the light novel and its manga adaptation is published by Yen Press. The manga features artwork by Yukari Higa:
