Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 Reveals New PV, Key Visual & 3 Newly Announced Cast Members

Crunchyroll will stream the season.

The TV anime Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 has unveiled a brand-new promotional video, a new key visual, and three additional cast members.

The fastest broadcast and streaming will begin on July 4 via AT-X, d Anime Store, and ABEMA. Crunchyroll has confirmed it will stream the season, while Muse Asia has announced its licensing of the series.

The release schedule is as follows: Episode 1 will receive an early premiere on July 4 (Saturday), followed by its regular broadcast on July 6 (Monday). From there, Episode 2 and subsequent episodes will air every Monday starting July 13.

OVERLAP Novels light novel series, written by Ennki Hakari and illustrated by Akira Sawano, first launched in 2015 and has reached a total of 10 volumes as of March 2022. The first season aired from April to June 2022, and the production of the second season was officially announced in December 2024.

According to Seven Seas, the synopsis of the first volume is as follows:

One day, a gamer played video games until he fell asleep…and when he woke up, he found himself in the game world–as a skeleton! Equipped with the powerful weapons and armor of his avatar but stuck with its frightening skeletal appearance, Arc has to find a place for himself in this new, fantastical land. All his hopes for a quiet life are dashed when he crosses paths with a beautiful elven warrior, setting him on a journey full of conflict and adventure.
