The key visual and the “Main PV (Back Ver.)” for the upcoming TV anime IRON WOK JAN!, based on the manga by Shinji Saijo, have been unveiled. It was also announced that Tomokazu Sugita will join the cast as Ryuji Bito.
The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 5. In addition, EMUNIMIN’s “Nakita Akuma” has been selected as the ending theme song, with portions of the track featured in the newly released promotional video.

“IRON WOK JAN!” is “Cooking is a game!”, a Chinese food manga known for its intense and unconventional cooking battles. The story follows a young chef with a strong personal creed who faces many unique and rival chefs.
The manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten) from 1995 to 2000. In 2025, the series celebrates its 30th anniversary. The original series is now available in a 13-volume digital edition. Sequels and spin-off have also been published, including Iron Wok Jan! R: The Summit Operations and Iron Wok Jan! 2nd. The total circulation of the franchise has exceeded 10 million copies.
