MAPPA officially announced the anime adaptation of BEAT & MOTION during its MAPPA 15th Anniversary Lineup Reveal on June 19. The series will be streamed exclusively on Netflix worldwide in 2027. Based on the original coming-of-age drama manga by Naoki Fujita.

Naoki Fujita’s original manga was serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform from February 2023 to January 2025. The series concluded with a total of six tankōbon volumes. Its English edition is published by VIZ Media, which summarizes the plot of the first volume as follows:
