Original illustrator neco’s “armed high school girls” project, Heavily Armed High School Girls, has officially been announced for a TV anime adaptation, scheduled to premiere in 2027.
To commemorate the announcement, a brand-new illustration drawn by neco and a teaser promotional video were unveiled. The newly released visual features Ichi, a high school girl armed with several of the series’ signature swords.

The anime is being produced jointly by Good Smile Film and Good Smile Company. The teaser PV showcases a mysterious girl gazing toward the distant sky before introducing Ichi, hinting at the world and characters that will take center stage in the upcoming anime adaptation.
