The MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2026 (MAJ), the country’s biggest music awards event, has revealed the first artists performing at its Grand Ceremony on Saturday, June 13 at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO.
The lineup includes major Japanese and international acts such as Kenshi Yonezu, Fujii Kaze, MISAMO from TWICE, and British singer Sam Smith.
Other confirmed performers include HANA, Chanmina, sakanaction, Hitsujibungaku, and Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, who will perform with guest artists AiNA THE END, TAKUMA (10-FEET), and LiSA. More artists will be announced before the event.

MAJ also plans special concerts and events across Tokyo in the week leading up to the ceremony, celebrating Japan’s music scene and its global influence.
The awards are organized by CEIPA, a group made of Japan’s major music industry organizations. The first MAJ ceremony was held in Kyoto in 2025.
