Fans of the classic comedy manga and anime Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo will soon be able to enter its strange and chaotic world through a new exhibition in Japan.
The event, titled “Dive into the Bo-bobo World“, will take place from September 30 to October 17 at Sunshine City Bunka Kaikan Building before moving to ATC/ITM Hall from January 8 to January 24, 2027.

So far, organizers have not revealed many details about the exhibition. According to the official description, visitors will take part in a special “training program” for Hajikelists, allowing them to relive famous battles from the series and experience the wild energy of Bo-bobo’s world.
Created by Yoshio Sawai, the original manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2005. A sequel series, Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, continued until 2007. In 2003, Toei Animation produced a 76-episode anime adaptation. The series later gained popularity in North America after airing on Cartoon Network’s Toonami block in 2005.
Set in the year 300X, the story follows Bo-bobo and his friends as they battle the Chrome Dome Empire, a group determined to shave everyone bald. Using absurd powers — including Bo-bobo’s famous nose hair attacks — the heroes defeat enemies through pure chaos and comedy.
