The upcoming TV anime adaptation of IRON WOK JAN! has released a new character trailer introducing Kiriko Gobanchou, voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa. The anime is being produced by TROYCA, with Ei Aoki serving as director, and is currently scheduled to premiere in 2026.

“IRON WOK JAN!” is “Cooking is a game!”, a Chinese food manga known for its intense and unconventional cooking battles. The story follows a young chef with a strong personal creed who faces many unique and rival chefs.
The manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten) from 1995 to 2000. In 2025, the series celebrates its 30th anniversary. The original series is now available in a 13-volume digital edition. Sequels and spin-off have also been published, including Iron Wok Jan! R: The Summit Operations and Iron Wok Jan! 2nd. The total circulation of the franchise has exceeded 10 million copies.
