Kyoto Animation has officially announced that The Credits Roll into the Sea will receive an animated feature film adaptation set for release in theaters in 2027. More information about the film is expected to be announced in the future.

Originally published by AKITASHOTEN, the manga became a major success after ranking No. 1 in the Women’s Division of Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2022. The first chapter also gained strong attention online after being posted on X, where it received more than 258,000 likes.
In addition, the final volume of the original manga will be released on May 15.
