The upcoming anime film Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Kikikaikai! Ora no Yokai Vacation has announced three new guest voice cast members ahead of its release in Japan on July 31, 2026.

The film is directed by Masaki Watanabe at Shin-Ei Animation, with a screenplay written by Yoshiko Nakamura. This is Watanabe’s first time directing a Crayon Shin-chan movie after previously working on storyboards and episode direction for the TV anime.
In the story, Shin-chan and his family travel to Akita to attend the Omagari Fireworks Festival in his father’s hometown. However, strange events begin causing yokai from “Yokai Land” to run wild across Japan. Shin-chan and his friends are then drawn into a mysterious new adventure.
