Naruki’s manga Glasses with a Chance of Delinquent is getting a TV anime adaptation. To celebrate the announcement, Naruki has released a special commemorative illustration featuring the main characters Ichikura and Momose, along with other supporting characters who bring energy to the series.
The manga is currently serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine, and its first ten volumes have surpassed a total circulation of 1 million copies. The series is officially published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment, which describes the story as follows:
A sweet romance manga about looking beyond a person’s past to discover who they really are!
Momose has always longed for a peaceful high school life. She wants nothing to do with hoodlums, delinquents, or troublemakers. When she meets Ichikura, an inconspicuous black-haired boy with glasses, he looks like a normal, nice guy. But it turns out that back in junior high he was a nefarious delinquent!
He keeps assuring her that he’s changed his ways, but he’s still pretty quick to pick fights! Has Ichikura really turned over a new leaf? And will Momose keep quiet about his rowdy past?
