Let’s Go KAIKIGUMI Anime Premieres on July 5

Upcoming supernatural comedy anime.

The TV anime Let’s Go KAIKIGUMI is set to premiere on July 5, airing every Sunday. A key visual, the first trailer, as well as new cast and staff details have all been officially revealed. This new information was announced today at AnimeJapan 2026, held on March 29 at Tokyo Big Sight.

In addition, a special pre-screening event featuring the cast will take place on June 20 at Tokyo Science Hall. Advance lottery ticket sales via Eplus are available from March 29 to April 19.

Starting in June, the official radio program will also be streamed on the internet radio platform Otosen.

Let’s go KAIKIGUMI, published by Shogakukan Creative, is a manga by View with 5 volumes released in Japan. The story follows a protagonist unusually sensitive to spiritual phenomena. When he meets Mechako, a mysterious girl who runs the ghost-policing group Kaikigumi, he is drawn into helping them restore the organization, leading to a series of eerie and comedic adventures.
