The “AnimeJapan Special Visuals” for the TV anime Though I Am an Inept Villainess have been unveiled. Mitsue Yamazaki is directing the anime at Doga Kobo for a July 2026 debut.
At the TOHOanimation booth during AnimeJapan 2026, held at Tokyo Big Sight from March 28 to 29, there is a dedicated corner for Though I Am an Inept Villainess, where visitors can also view the special visuals.

In the Kingdom of Ei, five clans put forth their maidens as imperial consorts—but only one will be crowned empress.
