Aniplex, A-1 Pictures, and Psyde Kick Studio have officially announced that the original anime GROW UP SHOW: Sunflower Circus will premiere in July. Alongside the announcement, the key visual, first promotional video, as well as the main cast and staff details have been revealed.
Additionally, a special stage event for the series will take place on March 29 at AnimeJapan 2026, held at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo. Members of the cast are scheduled to appear on stage.

SYNOPSIS:
Set in Japan during the economic boom of the mid-1950s, when circuses were at the heart of popular entertainment, the story unfolds in a world where top troupes compete for recognition at the prestigious “Circus Collection” festival.
At the center is the struggling Sunflower Circus, led by the passionate ringmaster Maria. Their fate begins to change with the arrival of a mysterious young prodigy, Mizuka Tsurumaki, who joins the troupe for reasons unknown.
As Mizuka meets the circus’s uniquely talented performers, a question arises: is this encounter mere coincidence, or something more like destiny? A vibrant and emotional story of young girls chasing their dreams under the big top begins.
