Zero Zero Enterprises has launched a new Kickstarter featuring Japanese horror legend Junji Ito and two-time Grammy-nominated artist Poppy. Their collaboration brings Ito’s 1997 horror story Old Records to life as an immersive audio experience on vinyl.

The adaptation, written by Ryan Cady (The X-Files, MAGDALENA), features Poppy performing the story in English and Shoko Nakagawa (Gurren Lagann, Dragon Ball Z) in Japanese. The tale follows a cursed record of singer Paula Bell’s final song, which brings misfortune to anyone who listens.



The Kickstarter offers several vinyl editions:
