My Hero Academia TV Anime to Celebrate 10 Years With Special Event on April 3

Daiki Yamashita and others will take the stage!

The kickoff event for the “My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary” project has been officially announced. The event will take place in Tokyo on April 3 at 6:00 p.m.

The anime adaptation of My Hero Academia will mark the 10th anniversary of its first season broadcast, which originally aired on April 3, 2016. Several main cast members will appear on stage to look back on the past decade of the series, including:

  • Daiki Yamashita (Izuku Midoriya)
  • Nobuhiko Okamoto (Katsuki Bakugo)
  • Ayane Sakura (Ochaco Uraraka)
  • Kenta Miyake (All Might)

During the event, the cast will discuss memorable moments from the anime’s 10-year history. New information about the upcoming special episode “More” and the 10th anniversary project will be revealed.

The event will be livestreamed on YouTube via the TOHO animation channel, allowing fans worldwide to celebrate the milestone.

A lottery for priority seating tickets is also being organized. Applications are open through eplus from March 7 until March 16 at 11:59 p.m., and selected fans will receive free invitations to attend the event in person.
