Bungo Stray Dogs Celebrates 10th Anniversary With Live Soundtrack Concert

The anime series is celebrating its 10th anniversary!

The anime series Bungo Stray Dogs will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2026 with a special live concert event featuring music from the show’s soundtrack. The event, titled Bungo Stray Dogs: Mayoi Inutachi no Onso (Anime Soundtrack Concert), will take place in Japan with performances scheduled in Osaka and Tokyo in May.

The concert will be led by the series’ composer Taku Iwasaki, who will serve as bandmaster and keyboardist. A group of musicians will perform arrangements of music from the anime while visuals from the series are projected on a large screen. The event will feature a full band performance designed to recreate the atmosphere of the show’s soundtrack in a live setting.

The Osaka performance will take place at the ORIX Theater on May 4, 2026. The Tokyo performances will be held at Tachikawa Stage Garden on May 23, 2026. Certain stage elements and performance details may vary between the concerts.

Alongside Iwasaki, several musicians will participate in the event. The lineup includes Tsuneo Imahori on guitar, Toshino Tanabe on bass, Shun Minari on drums, Jill and Jill Strings on strings, the Yuri Nakamura Group performing saxophone, Funta7 on synthesizer, Lotus Juice on rap vocals, and Miwa Sugai on jazz vocals.

Concertgoers will also hear newly recorded voice announcements from several characters from the anime at the beginning and end of performances. These announcements will differ depending on the show. Voice actors Mamoru Miyano, Kisho Taniyama, Yuto Uemura and Kensho Ono will be featured in the recordings.

Tickets will be sold in three tiers. VIP tickets with guaranteed front section seating and exclusive items will cost 18,200 yen, which is approximately $115. General seating with bonus items will cost 13,400 yen, or about $85. Standard general seating tickets will cost 8,800 yen, which is about $56. Prices are listed before taxes and service fees.

All attendees will receive a complimentary setlist as a special admission gift. VIP ticket holders will also receive two additional bonus items. These include a 24 page booklet with interviews and behind the scenes concert materials, as well as a commemorative satin ticket designed specifically for the Osaka and Tokyo performances.

Applications for the second round of advance ticket lottery sales are open now through March 17, 2026. Results will be announced on March 20, and successful applicants must complete payment between March 20 and March 24. Each applicant may request up to four tickets. Tickets will be distributed approximately one week before the concert dates.

An international ticket purchase website will also be available for fans outside Japan. Additional details about the anniversary concert and ticket information are available on the event’s official website.
