The TV anime adaptation of Dara-san of Reiwa, created by Harumi Tomotsuka, is set to premiere this July. Alongside the broadcast announcement, the first key visual and the debut trailer have officially been unveiled.
It was also confirmed that the main cast will perform the opening theme song, “Dara Dara♡Dancing”, which can be heard in the newly unveiled trailer.

Tomotsuka’s Dara-san of Reiwa has been serialized monthly on Kadokomi and Nico Nico Seiga since March 2022. Yen Press publishes the English edition and provides the following story description:
Two young children stand before the veil of life and death, and a many-armed terror opens a breach, stretches wide its many-fanged maw…and invites them in for a sleepover! And that’s not all, folks! Dara-san’s gonna have some fun in the sun at summer festivals, try toy-model making, and more! Somehow, an unknowable horror from beyond the black woods of untold history has ended up as the straight man in this silly spookfest!
