Sentai is bringing the anime movie Ninja Scroll back in 4K. The film, written and directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri, is set in Japan during the Edo period. First released in 1993, it is now a classic in anime history.
In Summer 2024, Sentai and HIDIVE showed Ninja Scroll in over 500 theaters in the U.S. as part of AX Cinema Nights. The new 4K version is made from the original 35mm film. Experts repaired damage and corrected colors to create a high-quality digital version.
