The manga Egao No Taenai Shokuba Desu is set to receive a TV anime adaptation, scheduled to air in 2025. The announcement is included on the obi of the ninth tankoubon volume, released on January 18.
The animation production company for the TV anime is Voil. Additionally, a commemorative visual by the manga’s artist, Kuzushiro, has been revealed.
The manga, categorized as a “working girls comedy,” revolves around a new female manga artist, her older editor, and her assistant, featuring occasional delusions. The series is published by Kodansha and has been serialized on Comic DAYS since 2019.
